MY FD ARCHIVE : MALAYSIA TATLER MAGAZINE

Yesterday, I was cleaning my store suddenly I found all my old magazines & books when back in UiTM. There's only one magazine that amazed me because at first, I felt weird - "Why I have this magazine?" [below], I look inside the mag then I remembered. Back then, I was doing a job for my client : JAKEL  [The largest textile entrepreneur in Malaysia; Click Here for more info about them.] 

I'm loving this project because the client especially THE BOSS were helpful. He satisfied with the design then wanted it to be published in a magazine. I was excited but I never expected it to be in this exclusive magazine. I'm thankful to have this opportunities.

Above, there are 4 kinds of signage that I created. Even though, I'm not that good in building it in real but hey~I'm designer, I have to be imaginative, use long steel ruler to get the specific size for it. It just our effort to be better! am I right?

FD SHARE : HISTORY OF Ai 10

I have left behind the days of studying at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2006, but I still keep my final project. At this time in 2000, I am still learning to use Adobe Illustrator [Ai] - I like to use Illustrator 10. Fuuuuuuu~ it was fun to use this Ai 10. The reason that I love it; Adobe Illustrator 10 is not a lot of red tape software - Illustrator 10 SIMPLE & SMART.

The first thing the lecturer taught using Illustrator is that he only taught two types of tools in the toolbox Ai - Pen Tool, Direct / Selection Tool. The rest, he told me to learn on your own. At that time, I still struggled to use Ai at the time but with all the ladders of success thanks to the efforts, I managed to capture using Ai well [not GREAT, ok!] Still learning but not like freshie.

The Memories hahaha~

Illustrator 10 is the lightest Ai software I've ever used on any Windows OS. While still a student, I use a computer [high specification - but now, it's "OFF"] And when I'm working, I'm using a laptop just to complete the paperwork, but still the best software Illustrator 10.

Now, Adobe has released various versions of Adobe Illustrator. What I remember, the first version of Illustrator after Ai10 [Correct me if I'm wrong]: 

• Illustrator CS 
• Illustrator CS 2 
• Illustrator CS 3 
• Illustrator CS 4 
• Illustrator CS 5 [I'm using it now] 
• Illustrator CS 6 [Most Recent]
• Illustrator CS 7 [Maybe, I don't know..guessing hahaha~]

In conclusion, no matter what version of Illustrator software used; It depends on the individual taste, for me - I still miss Illustrator 10. Now, I use a laptop from Apple products to make everything work regardless report or design. Although Illustrator version 10 has ended, I still use the other version of Illustrator and now, I'm using version CS 5 where better then previous version.

FD REVIEW : iOS 8 UPDATED

Hye guys, Apple has released the iOS 8 update. So today as iPhone 5's user updated the iOS from 7 to 8. It takes determination & consideration because my internet slow. Here are some picture that I managed to shoot/print screen.

Please do DOWNLOAD it from iTunes, It takes 2 days 1 night
for ME to download this thing!

BUT...It takes about 15 minutes to install the update...

GUI is the same [for me]

More FREE Apps from Apple [Good!]

Lots of iPhone Background [which I like it!]

Camera very useful with new function [Hhmm~I Think]

The "Accesibility" function become more helpful [Thumbs Up]

***The BATTERY USAGE WORK MUCH BETTER!***

[The Main Reason That I look When Updating!!]

Well, This is my opinion about iOS 8 update on my iPhone 5. I'm not fully utilize [refer to pictures above] the potential of iPhone like you guys but I'm doing the best of it so it can function properly.

p/s: My iPhone 5 works very well! There's no problem with it after updated it!

FD SHARE : THE POWER OF PEN TOOL

Hye guys, it's been so long I didn't post anything in my blog.

Today, I want to share my artwork [just a simple poster design] using Adobe Illustrator. 

Here are the Design Process that I usually do when using Ai.

I took sketches [sample]  from my students then I used the Pen tool [Below]

I'm still new in this world of Digital Illustration. Even though, I already bought [2 years ago] the graphic tablet [BASIC type] : below BUT! I never do it more than just for fun.
